So what's their stories? I'm assuming the bear is a reference to "Grizzly Man"?
And the geese... avian flu?

The bear is arefernce to Spring (waking from hibernation) and yes, grizzly man.
The geese apparently migrate to Alaska around now as well and just....hang out everywhere.
