Weekly Woof

The Weekly Woof, a kids comic I do for BlackDog.net, is Halloween themed this month. If you don't check it out, you'll never know the answer to "what kind of wolf doesn't know where he's going?"

Why does your blog have no comments? It makes no sense to me. So, in that spirit, I will take a moment to be a sycophant: I love Idiot Box very much. I have it as a featured link on my blog, Another Goddamned Liberal.

I was crying when I clicked on your site to read some of your cartoons. I had just gotten off the phone with my baby brother, who redeploys back to Iraq on Friday. I managed to last twenty seconds before I had to hang up in haste, as my voice caught, and I didn't want to upset him.

It was one of the most painful things I have ever had to do. There's a special place in hell for AWOL George for what he has done to families, both American and Iraqi.

Then I came across this, and I found a bit of laughter again:

"I ain't a steer, and I ain't a queer." I laughed out loud. I also love the frame with the dog and the cupcake. So funny, so true.

HI Laura,

Thanks for commenting (and the link). Glad you like the strip.

I'm sorry to hear that your brother has to go back to Iraq.
