This comic hits home for me, as I have been the victim of anti-libertarian bigotry. When I told someone I was voting libertarian, the guy accused me of "wanting poor people to starve to death."

Thanks, Matt.

@Josh I got accused of throwing my vote away when I told people I wrote in Mike Gravel (I live in TN. No way a vote for Obama would count). Besides, why is voting for someone you actual believe in throwing your vote away?

I'm one of those 9/11 inside job believers too. Even if you don't believe in it, it's worth it to watch "The 9/11 Chronicles" because it doesn't go over the conspiracy theory stuff, but instead follows people in NYC who believe it and live it.

There are videos of people protesting in front of builds where guards and cops come up to them and say, "I think I see some wires in your backpack."

The camera combined with freedom of speech and wide channel distribution is the best defense against tyranny. The camera is more powerful and more deadly than a machine gun.

I'm pretty pissed off about this police state stuff. The government sure picked the wrong ideology to flex its' muscles on - because doing so proves the Libertarians' point.
While I'm pretty anti-economic libertarianism (though I don't think they want the poor to starve, they just don't understand economics well), I think that libertarians and everyone else can get to together and try to find a nice balance between keeping the peace and keeping the police in check.
