Women and children and bankers first

AP:
Some of New York's biggest companies, including Wall Street giants Goldman Sachs and Citigroup, received doses of swine flu vaccine for at-risk employees, drawing criticism that the hard-to-find vaccine is going first to the privileged.
In fact, 1,200 doses at Citigroup. Apparently a lot of children and pregnant women work there.

This is fine. This sort of morality is why royal families are inbred haemophiliacs.

Tangent: the Tintin films are coming out in the next few years. I as a news consumer cannot WAIT to see how hack cartoonists will use the intrepid boy reporter as a metaphor. Will Snowy represent fiscal solvency? Captain Haddock's drinking coudl represent the health plan! Stay tuned!

Interesting that both the Wall Streeters and the Guantanamo prisoners-without-trial are being fast-tracked for the vaccine. Dare I hope that the Obama administration is thinking of relocating the banksters to new quarters?
