Correction

This cartoon is now inoperative due to the Democratic Party's stunning inability to hold on to a Massachusetts Senate seat.

Can't say I'm shedding a tear. Time to tear down the Democratic Party structure and return it to its roots. Or just chuck it in the trash and start from scratch.

It's kinda amazing really, to see how much of this country is shaped by corporate advertising and lobbying. Like people actually believe our government can't afford to provide a public option (even though they can fund a war into oblivion).

The health insurance industry has turned the American people against their own personal interests. It's amazing when companies can convince citizens to vote against themselves.

The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which. -Animal Farm

Michael, you are right, but they won't. Things like this special election on make them cower more for fear of losing their seats.

Saying that Democrats need to stop being pussies gives them too much credit. After all, they are owned by the same people who own the Republican party. Obama's mission from Wall Street, where he got so much of his support during the election, was to ensure that the bailout money would keep flowing. It sure is convenient for opponents of health care reform that the Democrat who lost this special election barely campaigned. Also convenient that former Democrat Lieberman was allowed to derail so much reform. If it isn't collusion it sure looks like it.

Yeah O and the Gang isn't going to do anything.

At least I'll still have cheap subsidized corn snacks to eat my sadness of not having universal health care away.
