Is that shuffleboard? What is the visual pun here? No amount of labeling will clarify this cartoon for me.

I wouldn't have guessed it if he hadn't labeled it. I'm surprised he didn't label the ice, the background, his shoes, or the grim reaperish smiley face.

No, see, because the Winter Olympics are on television and Iran's nuclear program is causing concern... Get it? Here:

A = Political news story
B = Non-political news story

A + B = Editorial Cartoon

Let's try it ourselves:

Barack Obama is standing in a wet suit (we know this because his wet suit is labeled "Obama"). A killer whale is jumping out of the water and grabbing him in its teeth. The killer whale is labeled "Health Care Bill".

Ink it up, send it in, collect paycheck.

I thought I was the only one who wrote my nation's name on my suit jackets.

why is the curling rock shaped like a ball? he should learn the basic shape of a curling rock before drawing it next time.

with all the labeling on this... i feel like i should not be confused. but here i am... so confused by this.

Reno, you have to figure that what little effort was put into the Ahmadinejad caricature that you know he didn't even attempt to google a curling bell.
