This comic by Glenn Foden is not great. It is crap.

That Glenn Foden cartoon makes me wonder what kind of cartoons editoonists drew when interracial marriage was legalized.
I'm sorry to say, though, that the Tom Toles video isn't working for me.
It seemed like half the Toles video was cross-hatching, and it all sounded like that anyway (sound effects). Cool to watch, but hard to resist responding with "That's some mighty fine cross-hatching there!"
(I'm sure video of him getting the idea would be much more boring.)
I can see the Toles videos now. Wow, he uses a lot of different pens for one cartoon (a felt tip pen, Micro Pigma, and a Rapidograph, if I can see correctly).
Hey, I'm a nerd. I care about these things.
Matt, I think Tom Toles is great but he is into random clouds of cross hatching just floating around his comic.
