The Big Question

Hardest hitting cartoon ever. Man, that sucker hits hard!

I can't wait till CNN blasts these at me in hologram form.

I'm calling it now. "I'm ready to make a big projection" as my close personal friend Wolf Blitzer might say. This comic has Pulitzer written all over it. Give it to the committee in hologram form and you're golden. (Not that the intense hard-hitting nature of it alone wouldn't secure the prize.)

OK, I'm done now.

What? Is there some point I don't get? I have searched through it more than ten times, but I can't find the funny stuff. Is the text related to the picture? Is the White House, which seems to be off in the distance, a dog house of some kind? Tell me, tell me, Matt!

This is more puzzling than Morten M (that one says "alternative energy...
...is also shit"; yes, the animal is supposed to be a walking turd).

You're supposed to chuckle mindlessly as your neurons fire in recognition of a trivial topic that "everyone" is talking about. That is the point of 90% of political cartoons published today. "I read about that! And now it appears in the form of a badly drawn caricature! How funny!"

Thank you. I'm glad the editorial cartoonists have taken steps to accomodate the parts of the population who have given up the habit of thinking.

It comes quite naturally to them, I assure you. :-)

I thought I was voting for a cat person. Crap. Four more years of dogs?
