Nice rebuttal. Although you have the slight edge given your cartoon isn't lie-filled propaganda.
As for Asay's comic, at least Santa Obama is giving Asay his Afghanistan surge for Christmas.
Asay is probably the best of the rightist cartoonists. He's the least irritating, anyway.
That's an excellent rebuttal. The 'Invisible Hand' is no more realistic than Santa Claus, of course.
At least Asay can draw.
But his argument is bullshit. We pay for the health care with our tax dollars. It isn't free. It just makes more sense to spread the cost equitably so that everyone has access to health care. I don't get why this is so hard for conservatives to understand. There's nothing "liberal" or "ideological" about it. It's human survival.
Rebuttal rocks.
"Free lunch"...
Whenever I hear a wealthy right-wing pundit or politician use that expression, I feel like throwing him or her a shoe and a copy of David Cay Johnston's book Free Lunch: How the Wealthiest Americans Enrich Themselves at Government Expense and Stick You With The Bill
Actually, wouldn't be great if CNN could a do a multi-part series of documentaries based on the book?
