I plan to do a remake of this cartoon.

I challenge you to find a film that would not be improved by replacing all of the leading actors with pale goths and adding a bunch of wacky Rube Goldberg devices to the set and costume designs.
I submit that this film does not exist.
Honestly, I enjoy several of Burton's earlier films, but his output has been nearly 100% hackery for like 15 years now. I'm not sure what went wrong there.
Tim Burton should be kept from making more films with Helena Bonham Carter and Johnny Depp in order to protect all of their careers and society as a whole.
Tim Burton lost it after he made Mars Attacks.
At least we will always have Mars Attacks. ATAATTATTATAT
