I heard this on Rachel Maddow's radio program last night and E&P reports it, too: A 30-year-old Army Ranger on his seventh tour of duty in Afghanistan and Iraq was killed in Afghanistan was killed yesterday. He already had received two Bronze stars and a Purple Heart. Wouldn't that be enough to send the guy home to his wife and children? Makes me sick.
Oh, and: great cartoon, btw. A good sign of my praise is when it sparks me to rant.
Thanks.
That's so shameful and tragic. After a few tours of this shit there should be some kind of semi-permanent leave granted. I mean, what the fuck else did they want from this guy?
