Dude, that blows. The computer, I mean. The comic strip is great. I like the worried face on the hooker.
I just bought a MacBook Pro. It rocks. You should go into debt to get one. You could get a bail-out if you fly your lear jet to beg Congress for one.

Wow on the cartoon...just wow. I was a fundamentalist once and I do remember Dobson and Focus on the Family. You know what: even back then-in middle/toward the end of my Christian stance-I didn't agree with Dobson about a lot of things.
Of course then again, fundamentalist Christianity did do a pretty good job keeping you from forming truly objective thoughts and...you know..thinking for yourself.
Would I classify Dobson's followers as a hate group? I've never though about it in such harsh terms. I'd like to think they were just mislead or, at the worst, just kinda stupid. But now that I think about it, they are very intolerant of any challenging world view and immediately criticize it without even first trying to understand it.
They want to save the gay and make him straight. That's not so wrong is it? It's just like trying to make black people white; saving them from their blackness.

Sumit--I use "Hate Group" here as hyperbole. They are not as bad as real hate groups that advocate violence, but they are legislating discrimination--hate. These people are deranged for obsessing over gays so much. In fact, like Ted Haggard, I think many of them are gay.
