Have you tried you public library?
Mine has a few thousand titles that you can "check-out", and download. Then they delete themselves in 2 weeks and you can transfer to another device.
Much, much cheaper...it's free!
haha. You're the second person today to suggest that. I do go there but there's a wait list for a lot of the stuff believe it or not. I'll have to see if we have that download thing. That would be a gift from the blessed lord above.
