Here's part of a page from "War Is Boring", the graphic novel I'm working on. This scene takes place in Beirut after the 2006 war with Israel.

Oh man...I want this graphic novel.
This page looks great. I think your drawing style (in the vein of daniel clowes, adrian tomine, et al.) works really well in black and white. And you can tell you've put a little more time and detail into each page which makes it look even greater. This book will definitely be on my list to pick up.
This page reminds me of Joe Sacco's The Fixer tons... maybe it's just the shades and cigarettes, though.
