Sotomayor would indeed be the first Supreme Court Justice with Type 1 Diabetes. At least, the first one that's out of the closet. I'm sure Rush, Newt, Buchanan, and the rest of the angry white men lobbing RPGs at her will add it to their litany of complaints.
I don't go for the visual metaphor cartoons all that often, but Matt Davies has a perfect illustration of what the GOP is doing by bashing her.

Awesome. I love it. Making fun of how the media takes an issue that nothing to do with anything and popularizes it because, well what the hell else are they going to do?

As the proud son of a parent with Type I diabetes, I resent this sort of shabby treatment. Only Type II deserve this!

Oh Chickenhammer, I think it is cute when you self-proclaimed on-the-righters say things like "the truth is". New to liberation after eight years of not being allowed to point out the emperors pale and wrinkly nakedness without being demeaned as an America hater, I think it is adorable when you think you are relevant to conversation. Like those "Me want cheezburger" books with kittens in them or when my seven year old nephew tells me about some fanciful animal he made up and thinks he saw on the way to school. One was an "elephahipporich". On-the-righters are a lot like elephahipporichs, interesting at first but chuck full of crap after two minutes. You all sort of lost the "rule of law" thing with the whole, Bush v. Gore, illegal invasion of a sovereign country, and firing of public attorneys for political reasons thing. But hey, you know what? Keep up the good fight and don't let us crazy leftist, "fact lovers" keep you down. With some luck on your part current RNC chairman, Michael Steele, (Who totally got that position based on his credentials, wink-wink, you know what I'm talking about Chickenhammer) will be President in 2020 and he can appoint Justice Trixie, er, Trudie, no, umm, Trampompolene Palin to the bench just for you.
ChickenHumper needs to listen what Sotomayor actually said, in context, not what OxyContin addled Russian Dimbulb claims she said.
