Since they are the ones who caused these problems, they are the only ones who can fix them. Duh!
It's like if Superman punched the planet and it started hurtling into the sun. Do you think anyone else could fix that? Wonder Woman? No. Batman? No (Bruce Wayne, maybe). The Hulk? Hell no! Only Superman could set things right.
Come on Matt. Follow my train of logic. Everyone else (in Washington and on the 24/hour news networks) is doing it.
