As a South Carolina state senator once commented, "If English was good enough for Jesus, its good enough for America!
But who's English should be used for the National Anthem? Since America's National Anthem has its words set to the music of an old English drinking song, it should only be sung in a pub with a cockney accent, right?
But if God wanted the National Anthem to be sung only in English, He would't have given His Son Jesus a Spanish name!
