Douglas MacGregor should probably take his own advice and stop filling out March Madness brackets on the job. That way, he'll have more than five minutes to photoshop the same plane all over his comic.

Again (because I know I must have said this elsewhere on this blog and in private conversation), I don't understand why it is preferable to Photoshop a photo of cacti rather than frakking draw them?! It is not hard to draw a cactus. It would take me ten minutes to draw five of them, and that includes inking. Another five minutes for rocks and shrubbery, perhaps another ten just to make the transition from cactus to machine gun or syringe more seamless and artful.
Of course, I wouldn't draw this at all, because it is racist assholery. But had I no such qualms, the drawing is a cinch.
Aren't planes and cacti just behind hands on the difficult-to-draw scale?
